FROM THE CHURCHES FACEBOOK PAGE 1/19/10:

Sorry, we have not been very active on updating how things are going at the Chapel since the earthquake. From today on we will be trying to give you a daily update.

Lots has been happening at the church since last week Tuesday.
We are praising God that our buildings are spared and that the Chapel's beautiful grounds can be used to help our needy brothers and sisters.
Some of the buildings do have some minor cracks, though. We are hoping to find an engineer to check it out, but it looks very minimal.

The Nungesters orphanage, close to the Chapel is damaged and not safe for the children to live in. All 120 children and their care takers and Chris and Hall are "camping out" at the church.

Convoy of Hope has been coming in since Saturday:
Saturday they did a medical clinic. Saw many, many patients, lots wounded and many broken bones from collapsed houses and rocks falling Also a feeding program where people from the neighborhood do receive 2 packages of dry food, enough to feed 12 people

On Sunday we did have a wonderful church service. Many people came, some expetriates, many Haitians. Many from the neighborhood who do not speak English. It was decided to have a translator. It was an emotional service, time of mourning, time of Praising our God! and a time of hope for the future. BECAUSE HE LIVES, WE CAN FACE TOMORROW!! AMEN

After the service their was another feeding program. Thousands were able to eat that day.

Monday morning, Medical Clinic was set up. A wonderful team of doctors, amazing! They were able to treat many patients again. And the feeding program where thousands of people received food for the day.

Please continue to PRAY for our Haitian People.
We know, many of you would llike to help Haiti right now. We are setting up a bank account for you to donate money to. More information will follow soon.
Please pray for Pastor Bobby!! So many decisions to make, so many people are asking for his attention.
