We want to thank everyone who has sent donations of relief supplies to our Colorado office. We have already sent six containers from Colorado to Haiti. They are now sitting at the shipping port in Port-au-Prince waiting for customs to let them be delivered to the orphanage and ultimately being distributed into the community for those most in need.
Their are groups throughout Canada also preparing containers of relief items to send to Haiti. We want to thank them for all of their hard work and we are looking forward to seeing what everyone has collected!
We will concentrate on getting the containers we already have scheduled sent to Haiti, out of customs, and then distributed to the Haitian people. We will also start rebuilding some homes in the Kenscoff neighborhood and some homes for our staff.
Financial donations for earthquake relief can be sent to God's Littlest Angels, 2275 D Waynoka Rd, Colorado Springs, CO 80915, or via Paypal on our web site http://www.glahaiti.org/, (Canadian donors should use the Canadian Paypal button at www.glacanada.ca) or through the following link: http://godslittlestangelsinhaiti.org/ and click the "Chip in" button.

Their previous population was 160 kids (most either placed w/adoptive families or reunited with family) and are now down to 14 kids with a capacity for up to 200 children from infancy on up. They can care for special physical needs kids.
81 Children joined their families in Miami on Friday morning abour 9 AM! We spent 7 1/2 hous in Immigration but fnally were able to enter the airport conference rooms and had an nice, private, quiet, and organized meeting with all of the families. Every family had been waiting for us since Thursday afternnon. Read the "And life in Haiti goes on..." blog to learn more.

Most URGENT current needs are:
CANNED PROTEIN/MEATS (NO PERISHABLES)
TETNUS VACCINATIONS
They are willing/able to take in new orphans and have already assisted in several family reunions with children separated from their families.
They are fully staffed and have room for 185 more children at this time with supplies coming in from stateside donations. This is ideal for children verses sheltering in tent cities.

They understand the need to secure and protect these kids but they are well established and have the ability to care for these kids under much better living conditions and are hoping movement of releasing these kids will happen soon.
