Mission: My Brother's Keeper is a volunteer Christian ministry located in Easton, MA which delivers food and furniture to families in need. Our goal is to do more than deliver "usable" physical objects. We try to lift people up, help them feel special, and let them know they are loved.

To accomplish our mission, we work with basic furniture items that are in very good condition. We cannot deliver upholstered items that are ripped, torn, worn, stained, or dated. Electrical items must be in safe working condition. As a matter of policy, no donated items are sold.

My Brother's Keeper accepts donated furniture and household items during the months of January through mid-November. Pick-ups are typically scheduled within 1-2 weeks of the initial contact with us. We do not commit to accepting furniture "sight unseen" over the phone. At every pick-up, an experienced volunteer makes the final determination whether items are accepted or declined.

My Brother's Keeper normally accepts the following furniture items in good condition:

Standard couches and loveseats (no older than 10-12 years)
End tables & coffee tables
Twin mattresses and box springs
Full (double) mattresses and box springs
Queen mattresses and box springs
Dressers
Night stands
Kitchen tables and chairs
Refrigerators (no older than 10-12 years)
Lamps
Examples of items that we cannot effectively use are: desks, office furniture, hutches, buffets, pullout couches (sleeper sofas), futons, stoves, washing machines and dryers, exercise equipment, wheelchairs, walkers, console TVs, cribs, clothes, books, and Christmas decorations.

To donate furniture to My Brother's Keeper,
please call (508) 238-7512.
