We have taken in animals that have been abused and abandoned in the desert here in the Antelope Valley where temperatures can rise to over 120 degrees in the summer and well below freezing in the winter. These animals have been dumped here in the desert without food, water, or shelter needed to survive. Some of the animals you see at our rescue have been nursed back from horrendous treatment and are very timid but are surprisingly very kind and loving considering what they have been through. Our mission is to find loving homes for the ones who are able to go to homes where they will be members of your family. Some will never be able to leave due to the severe abuse they have been put through. Our hope and mission is to make these animals feel as safe, loved and comfortable as possible for the rest of their lives. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit group and we need as much help and support from the community as we can get. This entails volunteers and financial assistance. Any requests that are brand specific are to keep the dogs on the same food to keep them from getting stomach problems from changes to their diet. Neutering and Spaying Spaying and neutering saves more lives in the long run. All of our adoptees have been spayed and neutered and the cost is included in the adoption fee. Found Animals If you find a dog or a cat without a collar check with a local veterinarian or animal shelter to see if the animal has an implanted microchip. Also check the newspaper for lost and found ads. Some newspapers may allow a free found ad. Please place on to help reunite the animal with their family. The owner may check with the animal shelter for their pet. And this also works if you lose your pet. Some people are nice enough to hold pets and run ads so don't give up.
