January 2007 has been a quiet month for volunteer teams staying
here at the church, but that doesn’t mean work is not getting
done. We have been working with other organizations to schedule
teams to work on our project list. Just one example, an Amish
team from Indiana contacted us and we were able to use them to do
some construction for one of our church members. Our next team,
Sugarcreek UMC from Chatham, IL is scheduled to com in on February
25th.
I also would like to let you know that I have accepted a position
with the Annual Conference as Recovery Coordinator for the Easter
region (Jackson & George Counties) effective immediately and while
my primary duties will be there, I will still be coordinating and
scheduling the teams coming to work here in Long Beach. It has been
a true blessing to serve God and you in this position.
If you need assistance recovering from storm related damage,
please call me at (228) 343-7490 (cell) or email me at
bmclarry@aol.com
Thank you for your continued prayers and support.
In His Service,
Larry Davis
