Caring Kits Needed ...
Volunteers of America Southeast continues to aid victims of disasters such as the recent hurricane. We continue to collect items to create “Caring Kits” to aid those displaced due to the current flooding and any other storm-related event. Before the storm, Volunteers of America Southeast staged hundreds of caring kits at churches and other facilities along the Gulf Coast. Most of these kits have been distributed and we need to replenish the supply for future disasters. We welcome any individual or group who would like to help gather items to create the caring kits.
Each kit will consist of a 2-gallon zip-lock bag filled with the following items:
Donations of these items can be made at Volunteers of America Southeast, 600 Azalea Road, Mobile, AL 36609. For more information, please contact Paul McLendon at 251-422-7729.
