This minimizes their exposure to disease and provides the care and nurturing they need to become loving companions. To date, 1002 felines have graduated from our Kitten Fostering Program to be placed in loving homes. 4. Shelter Dog Socialization - This program provides shelter dogs with socialization, exercise and training. 5. Other Opportunities - Volunteers are always needed behind the scenes for phone calls, mailings, typing, etc., or to help with special events such as fundraisers.
