CHURCH SERVICES & DEVOTIONS:
Devotions: Every morning at 7 a.m.
9:15 a.m. -----Sunday Bible Study
10:30 a.m. -----Sunday Worship Service
6:00 p.m. -----Sunday Evening Worship Service
6:30 p.m. -----Wednesday Prayer Service
6:30 p.m. -----Thursday Night Mens Bible Study
ACCOMODATIONS:
KITCHEN: Commercial kitchen on site. There is a normal cook team
on site.
SHOWERS: Showers are available. Please bring a towel! Please be
considerate of others when taking showers (Don't take 10
minute showers). Example: Military showers
BEDDING: Bring your own sleeping bags and pillows, or air
mattresses. Some cots are available. Please be considerate
of others when coming in late.
COST: There is a $5.00 per person per night charge which will go into
effect on 04/16/06 to cover operational costs. If you do not plan
to make such a donation, we will need to advise you to make other
arrangements due to budget constraints.
CLIMATE AND CLOTHING: Work conditions: climate is hot and humid
with mud and mold. Bring bug spray, work gloves, hats, and safety
glasses. Dress for the occation. NO short shorts, please! Bermudas
are acceptable.
MEDICAL: Shots that are Mandatory: Tetanus.
Shots Recommended: Hepatitis A and flu, but not required.

CLEANUP: Please clean up after yourself, including taking out
trash, not leaving cups, plates, ect. around the church, and
not leaving litter on the chruch grounds. Janitorial service is
not available at this time.
Sleeping areas, bathrooms and common walkways must be swept
and cleaned before breakfast each morning. This includes
stocking the bathrooms with toilet tissue, hand towels and
making sure that the sinks and toilets are clean.
Assistance with meal preparation, setup and or clean up is
welcome and needed.
Please be considerate of the others when taking showers. Leave
the shower clean for the next person, and don't leave your
personal items in the shower.
Before leaving, the downstares must be cleaned, mopped and made
ready for the following week.
TOOLS & EQUIPMENT: All types of power tools, generators, power
washers, axes, sledge hammers, hammers, saws, contractor belts,
knee pads, shovels, rakes, floor scrapers, crowbars, work gloves,
rubber gloves. We have a limited supply of tools on site. Please
consider donating tools to the church for further use after
you leave.
EXPERIENCE: List individuals' experience or expertise on the
volunteer application.
AGE LIMIT: Due to the level of destruction, and our desire to
steer volunteers out of harms way we have capped the age of a
visiting volunteer at 16 years of age.
BUILDING USE: Language should be that of a Christian, no profanity.
NO tobacco or alcohol allowed on church grounds. No Movies shown
without church permission.Do not go into any of the offices or
classrooms without prior permission (the exception is the
"game room" upstairs at the end of the hall).
