* The Storehouse: Providing clothing, shoes, household supplies, personal care items, and school supplies to families and local churches and organizations assisting families
The Storehouse provides free school supplies to teachers in schools that serve low-income families. Teachers can obtain teaching aids and books, binders, backpacks, pencils, art supplies, and posters. They may also find educational toys and games that can be used as incentives for stellar schoolwork or good behavior. Many sites also provide such staples as blankets for school nursing offices and clothes for children in desperate need. Thanks to The Storehouse, teachers in participating schools don?t have to dig into their own wallets or watch their students go without educational supplies.
Schools in which 70 percent or more students qualify for subsidized meals qualify to use the center. In Dallas, nearly 33 percent of all schools fall into that category.

------------Filling Education Gaps for Kids in Need
Teachers who work in schools that serve low-income neighborhoods can get free school supplies and learning tools for their impoverished students at The Storehouse.
Thanks to The Storehouse, teachers in participating schools don’t have to dig into their own wallets or watch their students go without educational supplies.
Schools in which 70 percent or more students qualify for subsidized meals qualify to use the center. In Dallas, nearly 33 percent of all schools fall into that category.
