notes: Casa Nueva Vida Continues to be the only homeless shelter in Massachusetts with a completely bilingual staff, making us uniquely capable of providing a focused specialized package of services and programs to single Latina mothers and their children. Programs Casa Nueva Vida’s mission is not solely based on providing safe, permanent and affordable housing for our homeless mothers and their at-risk children, but it also seeks to empower our residents to become independent of all forms of public assistance. All of our programs were created on the basis of the needs expressed by surrounding community members and shelter residents with the goal of accomplishing self-sufficiency.
