In the aftermath of this humanitarian crises, it is critical that our response is immediate and well coordinated in order to save as many lives as possible. Volunteers are asked to have previous disaster or international experience or technical skills (for example, medical training, language, communications, logistics, water/sanitation, engineering). Well-intentioned foreigners lacking technical skills, disaster experience, and familiarity with the local culture and language, can seriously complicate relief efforts.
At the Beyond Borders DC Office, we are looking specifically for volunteers with skills in graphic design, web design, communications (i.e. press releases), and administrative expertise. If your are interested in volunteering, please complete this form and we will be in contact with you. DC Office Volunteer Form Thank you!
