We continue to adapt the needs of the people affected by Hurricane Katrina. Our focus has settled to the construction and rebuilding needs of the community. Volunteer work crews composed of all levels in skilled labor in the areas of sheetrock installers, carpenters, roofers, plumbers, electricians as well as unskilled labor are organized daily to go out into the communities to help residents. There are also on-campus jobs for volunteers that are vital to camp campus life. These include social work intake, kitchen and dining room assistants, facility and grounds maintenance, data entry, and general office work.
