Facilities: Laundry Facilities (For Volunteers) available at Waveland, City of, Katrina Resource Center

notes: Volunteer positions listed are volunteer positions we need FILLED on an ongoing basis. Please be sure to inquire if you are interested in filling one, especially if you have construction experience, as we need Construction Site Supervision of unskilled volunteers. We can take donations of furniture and household stuff to give to residents. -> There is an $18/person/day fee for volunteers who would like to stay at the Waveland Volunteer Center (WVC), our Volunteer Housing Center. This covers food and utility costs of running the WVC. While at the WVC, volunteers are provided food, shelter, bathrooms, laundry facilities, beds, and work with experienced supervisors. The WVC has a capacity of 60 people.
